Daniel Buonagurio Jr.
CEO, President
Daniel (Dan) Buonagurio, Jr. is the president and Chief Executive Officer for Recycleworks. Dan founded Recycleworks in 2016 with one goal in mind – a Zero-Waste future. Over the past 35 years, Dan
has founded and run several waste and recycling companies in New England. Dan has focused his entrepreneurial passion on the environmental sector – founding and running several waste and recycling businesses. (he also owns and operates Capital Paper Recycling). Before founding Recycleworks, Dan was the founder and CEO of Mass Hauling (sold to Republic Services in 2014). Dan holds a degree in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Outside of work, Dan enjoys his time spent with friends and family in the mountains of VT and the waters of Cape Cod Bay.
Daniel Buonagurio III
Chief Financial Officer
Daniel Buonagurio is the Chief Financial Officer of Recycleworks, the premier food and beverage upcycling company in The United States. Dan oversees finance, accounting, sales, strategy and legal for Recycleworks. Previously at Recycleworks, he worked in business development and finance. Prior to Recycleworks, Dan held various roles throughout the treasury department of Ally Financial. Dan holds a dual degree in Economics/Finance from Bentley University. Dan is a CFA Charterholder and outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Maximo Bernabel
Logistics Manager
Max oversees the entire trucking fleet at Recycleworks and works to ensure perfect service for our clients. Max brings a passion for optimizing logistics and ensuring smooth operations for the company. Prior to being promoted to Transportation Manager, Max was a driver for Recycleworks. Outside of work, Max enjoys enjoys spending time with his children, family and friends.
Henry Buonagurio
Chief Operating Officer
Henry joined Recycleworks in 2017, bringing a strong background in finance and a competitive edge from his time as a lacrosse player at the University of Richmond. With a BA in Finance, Henry integrates his analytical skills and athletic discipline to advance our mission of upcycling food and beverage waste into clean, renewable energy. Outside of work, Henry is passionate about sports, hiking, running, and exploring the latest films. His diverse interests and dedication to both his personal and professional life make him a key asset to our team, driving our collective goal of a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.
Juliette Petrillo
Assistant Controller
Juliette Petrillo comes to Recycleworks, Inc. with a B.S. from Westfield State, and more than 25 years’ professional experience in the accounting and human services fields. She is passionate about making the world a better place for our future generations, a career with Recycleworks, Inc an incredible combination both. Currently working in the finance division of Recycleworks, Inc. is both rewarding and challenging. In her downtime, Juliette enjoys spending time with her family on the beaches of Cape Cod and beyond.
Mackenzie Gray
Sr. Billing Specialist
Mackenzie joined Recycleworks in December of 2021 with the passion and integrity to make a difference in the food and beverage destruction industry. She strives to keep our company brand strong and billing accurately detailed. Mackenzie graduated from Gordon College with a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics. In her spare time, she likes to keep the college years alive by participating in multiple recreational field hockey leagues, running, and being outside anytime she can.
Justin Moseley
Sales Manager
Justin Moseley, the Sales Director of Recycleworks, has over 30 years of experience in the waste and recycling industry. Since 2017, Justin and his team have been helping Recycleworks customers throughout the United States reach their Zero-Waste goals. Prior to Recycleworks, Justin worked at Waste Solutions and Republic Services. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and boating with his wife and his big dog Lou.
Joe Coletti
Business Development Manager
Joe attended New England College and received a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Business and a minor in Marketing. His previous experience at Environmental Management Consulting LLC and Waste Management has strengthened his industry experience, making him one of our valuable Business Development Managers.. He played Division 3 College Hockey and is a member of the Stephen Ministry at Holy Family Parish in Duxbury, MA. He enjoys coaching hockey and is involved with an Inclusive Hockey team called “The Great Blizz.”
Tommy May
Business Development Manager
After attending UMass Boston, Tommy pursued his dreams and moved to California. Working for a prestigious Broker, Tommy quickly learned the ins and outs of the produce and agricultural industry.
Tommy continued in the food business, making his way back to Boston where he now lives in the town he grew up. Tommy is raising three children, spends lots of time in hockey rinks, and enjoys fly fishing when he can get up to his secret spot in Maine.
Peter Venturelli
Operations Manager
Peter leads our organic food waste and farm operations’ team and brings with him 25+ years of broad expertise in operational, risk and strategy management functions at one of the largest financial firms in the world. He approaches all his work with a client-centric attitude and has deep experience and success building internal programs to help grow business and operations activities. Outside of work, Peter is an active husband, father, and friend with an eye on a better, brighter, cleaner, and more hopeful future for all of us.
Brendan Kilban
Billing Coordinator
Brendan comes to Recycleworks with a B.S. in Management from UMass Boston. Working in the finance division has given him the opportunity to learn a great deal about the food and beverage destruction industry, and he’s excited to be part of a team that strives to make such a positive impact on the environment. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys playing golf, basketball, and going to the beach.
Jocelyn Koury
Office Coordinator
Jocelyn joined Recycleworks with one goal in mind: leaving the world a better place than she found it. Jocelyn graduated from Bryant University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing and a double minor in Environmental Science and Media & Cultural Studies. Jocelyn has worked in the solar industry and has experience with content marketing in the SEO space, and has been running her small crochet business since 2021. In her free time, you can find Jocelyn crocheting and bingeing Gilmore Girls, or working up a sweat at cardio dance class.
