Where do your products go?
Everything that Recycleworks handles is diverted from the landfill. Everything is first hauled to our state of the art facility, the outlets that we use vary depending on what your product is.
What We Do.
Whether you drop it off to our facility or we pick it up from you, every single piece of cardboard, every pound of expired food, and every pallet of bottles is recycled properly. Of course, meat scraps and aluminum cans are very different – so how do we dispose of each? Read below to learn more about the ways in which we recycle and dispose of each commodity.
Where do your products end up?
Beverage Containers
All beverage containers are de-watered and baled to be sent to recycling. All of the liquids are captured and sent to Anaerobic Digestion, and the shipping materials are all recovered and diverted from the landfill.
Organics
Anything that cannot be consumed by humans or animals (expired foods, out-of-code products, leftovers) are collected and transported to an anaerobic digestion facility, farms or feed plants. Learn more about anaerobic digestion by watching the video found at the link below!
Other Recyclables
Our single stream process means you don’t have to sort anything – we can handle mixed trailers containing out-of-code product, cardboard and pallets. Let us do the heavy lifting so that you can focus on your customers!
